Making it into Medical School - Careers Webinar

Tuesday 30th September - 6pm

Medicine is one of the most competitive and rewarding degree choices, but with thousands of students applying each year, it takes more than strong grades to secure a place. Work experience, admissions tests, interviews and personal statements are all part of the process, and understanding how they fit together is key to success.

This free webinar for students and parents in Years 11-13, will guide you through what is involved in applying to medical school. The session will be led by Dr Obaid, a UCLH doctor specialising in radiology, who will share his insight into how to prepare effectively and how to show admissions tutors that you are ready for the challenges of medical training.

We’ll cover:

✅ An overview of the medical school application process and timelines

✅ What admissions tutors are looking for in personal statements and interviews

✅ How to gain relevant work experience and reflect on it effectively

✅ Key tips for preparing for UCAT and BMAT while balancing A levels

If you cannot join live, you can still register and you will automatically receive the recording and the free checklist by email.
