Bedfordshire FA Football Education Academy Recruitment Session

The Bedfordshire FA Football Education Academy is for aspiring 16 -19 year olds.

The programme is designed to offer young people a unique pathway into the football industry through high-quality education and hands-on experience.

Our boys programme and girls programme are based at and have access to multiple facilities that we manage these include the Bedfordshire FA HQ (Dunstable), Tithe Farm Pavilion 3G (Houghton Regis) and Creasey Park Football Centre (Dunstable). This academy offers students an opportunity to gain valuable qualifications in sport and physical activity whilst being fully immersed in a professional football environment.

Students will enrol onto and complete the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development.

As the governing body for football in Bedfordshire, the FA is uniquely positioned to enhance this academic experience with practical football training and development.

In addition to the fully funded course programme, students will also complete extra qualifications which include:

  • A full FA Referees Qualification, enabling them to officiate local football matches
  • The FA Introduction to Coaching Football is fully included in the course
  • Certified FA Safeguarding Children and Introduction to First Aid in Football training
